SAB’S 2018 Lerumo Women in Manufacturing Programme gets under way

The South African Breweries is proud to announce the start of the SAB Lerumo Women in Manufacturing 2018 Programme, a unique opportunity for selected women entrepreneurs to engage with industry thought leaders and business coaches to build their skills in the tough world of corporate procurement.

About the SAB Lerumo Programme:

SAB Lerumo is a four-month supplier development programme that targets black woman-owned companies that are struggling to break through barriers and improve their market access capabilities. The programme is aimed at imparting core skills to participants to enable them to navigate the complex procurement structures of big corporate operations.

SAB Lerumo Programme goals:

With sustainability as the guiding principle, our goal as a company is to develop these women entrepreneurs to become exceptional leaders in their communities and to assist them to create sustainable jobs that can contribute to the country’s economy.

2018 Programme:

The 2018 SAB Lerumo Programme duration is four months, during which the women entrepreneurs will participate in masterclasses in Gauteng and North-West provinces, focusing on topics including B2B selling, human rights and labour standards, supply chain, marketing, funding and pitching. The classes will provide them with industry-relevant insights and business-development support.
